Building bicycles is part of my DNA. My great-grandfather was the owner of a bicycle shop. As a teenager I started working in one. Repairing these bikes gave me ideas about designing new bicycles.

During my study automotive engineering in 2005, I started building my first bikes. I especially enjoyed building and riding Track bikes because of their simplicity in nature. Ideas about functionality, design and quality combined led to the Eliancycles Cargobike and Commuter bikes.

I now have my own bicycle building place where I design and build custom made bicycles, using solid tools and machines from an old European bicycle factory. Check the Eliancycles flickr account for photos about the bicycle building process.
